个人简介:

   19817月参加工作,19916月毕业于南京铁道医学院微生物学与免疫学专业,获硕士学位;199510月毕业于南京大学生物化学与分子生物学系,获博士学位。19971月至199812月在美国罗切斯特大学医学中心作博士后;19995月至20018月在加拿大多伦多大学附属多伦多病童医院博士后、访问学者。20019月作为教育部“CJ学者奖励计划特聘教授,受聘为东南大学基础医学院遗传学研究中心主任,博士生导师;2003年获准建设发育与疾病相关基因教育部重点实验室,任主任;20044月至200911月任东南大学基础医学院院长,200912月至201912月,任东南大学生命科学研究院院长。先后获得国家自然科学基金(面上、重点)、国家杰出青年科学基金、美国NIH基金(RO3)、国家“973”重大基础研究项目等资助。

研究方向:突触发育调控与认知疾病机制

   大脑通过约1015个突触连接而成的巨大通讯网络来进行信息处理、行使功能。突触通过自身的可塑性,传递、转变和完善信号。突触细胞粘附因子,通过连接突触前、后细胞,调节突触传递信号,并且通过形成特异性的突触功能来决定神经网络的特性。家系分析发现,人类突触细胞粘附因子基因发生突变与孤独症、精神分裂症等关联;基因组水平研究显示,包括孤独症、精神分裂症等多种认知性疾病,均存在编码突触分子,如CaherinsProtocadherinsL1CAMNeuroliginNeurexinCNTNAP2Contactins等的基因异常,但其致病机制不清。本研究组以神经元表面蛋白分子为研究对象,应用综合研究手段,结合模式生物,探索突触发生、成熟、环路形成以及在学习记忆等高级神经活动与行为中的作用,探讨其在遗传和表观遗传水平上的调控机制,为阐明其在相关的认知障碍与疾病中的作用奠定基础。
