From June 29th to July 5th in 2009, the 13th Robocup was held in Graz, Austria. 3000 contestants from more than 40 countries and regions participated in the Robocup, which included ten items of four major categories. SEU team won the championship of Simulation 3D contest and the runner-up in Virtual Robots.
SEU team participated in three contest events of this Robocup, including SimSpark 3D, Robot Rescue and Simulated Rescue. In Simulation 3D contest, SEU team fighted all its way through to the final and won the championship with a score of 3 to 1 in the final competition against Boldheart team from Britain. This was the second time that SEU won the championship since Robocup 2008. In the contest of Virtual Robots, SEU team showed remarkable advantages and ranked second. In Simulated Rescue, SEU team won the eighth place.
