Minister for Education of Australia Visited Southeast University-Monash UniversityJoint Graduate School (Suzhou)




On September 10th, Christopher Pyne, Minister for Education and the Leader of the House of Representatives in the country of Australia visited Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School (Suzhou). Pyne was invited to China by Chinese Ministry of Education, and one of his important destinations is Southeast University- Monash University Joint Graduate School (Suzhou), which is a high-level international joint research center co-constructed by Chinese and Australian governments.

Pyne visited the classrooms and laboratories of the major industrial design engineering, and investigated on the research equipment and results of the joint graduate school under the company of the school leaders of both universities and Lisa Paul, Australian consul general in Shanghai.

Minister Pyne also communicated sincerely with the graduate students majoring in industrial design engineering, offered high evaluation towards the first class designing laboratories and 3D printing design platform, and gave high appraisal to the talent training platform of the joint graduate school. Furthermore, he put forward earnest hope to the the future collaborations of the two universities.
